Covid-19 Club Statement

Following the Covid-19 announcement by the SFA last week all football at our club has been suspended.

These are unprecedented times and football pales into the background as we all take steps to safeguard our families and our own health at this time.

This is a fast-moving situation and is subject to change at short notice.

What we know so far is:

13 March SFA/SPFL – JOINT RESPONSE GROUP: The Joint Response Group can confirm the decision of the Scottish FA Board to suspend ALL domestic professional and grassroots football under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA until further notice.

16 March SFA/SPFL – JOINT RESPONSE GROUP: Having taken medical advice, the Scottish FA Board recommends that no training or conditioning in groups should take place for the time being.  This recommendation covers all levels of the game.  Further updates on this will be given as and when further medical advice is received.

16 March Edinburgh College website: Due to the rapidly changing situation regarding coronavirus and to best protect the health and safety of all of our students, the College has taken the decision to suspend all face-to-face classes from 4pm today (Monday 16 March) until Monday 20 April.

Our club fully support the decision to cancel games and we will not play again until the advice from the SFA/SPFL Joint Response Group changes.

We will also cancel all training until the advice from the SFA/SPFL Joint Response Group changes.

Further to that there is no access to the clubhouse until further notice.

In the meantime, if anyone feels unwell please visit the NHS Inform website by clicking here.

We will post further updates as and when we have more information.
