A Few Words From The Gaffer Gary Jardine
With the season finished I’d firstly like to take the opportunity to thank the committee, supporters and sponsors for their support throughout the season. Both on and off the park the club have continued to improve and this couldn’t be done with out your support.
Secondly, a massive thanks to my staff and our players. It’s been a long season however we can look back on some real highlights and without hesitation, I can say we have continued to move the club in the right direction. As is normal at this time of the season we say farewell and wish those moving on the very best. Over the next few days we will update on those who have renewed their contracts and when the time is right, will do likewise with those incoming. While he probably won’t thank me for saying so I’d like to give a special mention for Kyle Fee. Since i joined the strollers Kyles attitude and commitment has been second to none and if it turns out he has played his last game (given his injury) then I can only say I’m proud to have been his manager. You can take the boy out of Granton………..
Finally, a thank you to our loan players and their clubs, Hibernian and St Johnstone for supporting us once again. It was great to see Jack Brydon being promoted with Edinburgh City and hopefully he can hit the ground running when back in for preseason. As a club we are extremely proud of Joao. While he’d be first to thank his team mates, he’s earned and deserved his full time contract and we wish him all the very best. Last but not least, we also wish Taylor all the best on his return to St Johnstone. For someone so young it’s a credit to himself how he immediately fitted in and hit the ground running. I’m sure he, like the others, have a big future.
Have a great break and hope to see everyone back at the CGP soon.
Gary
