Civil Service Strollers are delighted to announce that work to install floodlights at Christie Gillies Park will commence next month.
The north Edinburgh club were required to have them installed as part of club licensing following changes that were brought in last season.
This year the club has worked tirelessly to raise the money needed to purchase the lights and have them erected.
Club President, Russell Pryde, said “We are delighted that we have got to this stage and can now have floodlights installed.
“It’s been hard work raising the money and I would like to thank everyone who has donated money towards this.
“I would also like to again thank the Scottish Football Partnership for their £5,000 grant that has been used towards the cost of installing the lights.”
Work at the ground will start on Monday 9th September and will take around two weeks to complete.
