Civil Service Strollers have today launched a rewards-based crowdfunding appeal to contribute towards the cost of having floodlights installed at Christie Gillies Park.
Earlier this month the Muirhouse based club was granted planning permission to erect the lights following changes to the SFA licensing criteria.
Club President, Russell Pryde, said “We are launching this crowdfunding appeal in a bid to raise money towards the total cost of the project, which is just over £30,000.
“We have been working hard for many months to get us to this stage and now we need to raise as much money as we can to ensure the floodlights can be installed as soon as possible.
“We appreciate any help that anyone can give us and we will keep everyone updated on how we progress.”
There are rewards for any donation above £50.
Last week it was confirmed that the Scottish Football Partnership had granted the club £5,000 towards the cost of the project.
The club recently launched our new Sponsorship Brochure giving businesses the chance to get involved.
